Our Bear Adventure
On July 12, 2007 I was fishing on the west side of the bridge on Crystal Springs Road. We had seen a bear on June 4th and other people had seen him. He was a brave bear with no fear of humans which is not good in a populated area. We think he was only 2 years old. As a cast upstream I saw on the other side of the bridge this bear looking at me. He was no more that 30 feet away from me with not to much water in between us. I very calmly put my pole down and climbed up the embankment (which my cousin told me she had never seen me move so fast) and went and got my camera out of my car. Here are a series of pictures I took of him. He spent about an hour with us.
We saw him again on July 21st. He was hit by a car and killed the next week.
